Hotel and restaurant

Our traditional tourist hotel (est. 1937) is located in the Sámi village on Inari in northernmost Lapland. Our Sámi family has been running the hotel for 2 generations. We value our traditions highly and in our main house, our historical heritage can be experienced both in our rooms and in the restaurant. In our nature themed River Hotel annex the guests can enjoy the luxury of a private sauna in the room as well as great views to the rapids behind our hotel. In our hotel we have 45 double rooms in total.
Our restaurant is a real experience, offering a relaxed environment with rapids views and a cosy lounge with an open fire. Using all that our surrounding nature offers and getting inspiration from our traditional cooking, we create meals that you cannot find anywhere else. The Nordic White Guide has evalued our restaurant on the 8th place in the whole of Finland in 2018!
We help our guests with booking year-round activites in our area and also with other services such as airport and bus transfers.
Our hotel also offers two special tv channels for our guests. In the summer season we have a fish camera in our river and you can follow the underwater life from all tv's in the hotel. In the winter season, we have an Aurora camera which shows the occurence of Norther Lights in Inari through out tv network.

Tradition Hotel Kultahovi

What we offer

We have accommodation (hotel rooms) in an unique historical hotel. All rooms have been renovated in 2015.
Superior (16) rooms are located in our River Hotel. Rooms have i.e. an own sauna.
Our award-winning restaurant serves all meals for hotel guests and also non-residents. We offer also group menus.
The guests can book year-round activities in our reception. We can also make bookings for airport and bus transfers and arrangement for other transfers for our guests.
Our location is in the Inari village, on a pristine and peaceful spot in the nature, along River Juutua and its rapids and in old pine forest.

What we are looking for

Because of our long history we have also long-lasting business relationships with many European tour operators.
No business is too small for us and we seldom have large groups staying in our hotel. Smaller groups (10-20 pax) are typical to our hotel and we are strong in the FIT market.
We are looking to maintain our multinational clientele. This way our guests feel more like individuals.
We welcome guests from shorter days (1-3 nights) to longer weekly stays. Inari offers quite a lot to do and experience all year around!
